Dead Man Walking
Who's afraid to die?
Many are quiet scared to
talk about it. But it's our destiny
and no one can escape, if that
time will come. Lots of writings
about death, but the real truth is,
when we die there's no turning
back. Period. How sad is it?
When a young girl was told of his mom's death,
she responded with, "can you play your guitar for me?"
And he did 'coz he know she tried to divert the pain that
she was feeling that time. :(
When my grandfather was dying, I was there crying 'til he
breathed his last. And how very painful, when my father died,
i was not there. I was crying alone and my heart is totally
breaking apart. This is the reality of human emotions because
you can't turn back the time.
When a person is a full time christian missionary for God,
and his mission is to spread the good news to all islamic state,
do you think he will obey or back out? Well, majority will
obey the call for the sake of their faith & belief.
This sound fanatic or suicidal for some.
But that's real faith. It's a choice. It's our own disposition in life.
Only us can choose and drive our future. Choosing death and life
will also depend on us. What we do and say will also decide how
long we will stay here on earth. How about the soldiers?
A convict? A dead man walking aren't they.
Gates of death are waiting for them anytime.
But how a soldier living his life to the full?
How a convict spend his remaining days to death row?
How about the sick and dying?
How about those planning to take their own lives because they
think it's over? How about a sudden death by accident?
or got killed in the streets?
I have a friend, he told me that he don't want to go to see a doctor.
The reason? He don't want to know his real physical condition.
But why? He has a lot of vices to enjoy while he's living.
And i was surprised when he said that he don't want to grow
old and he's happy if he reach 50 years of age then die.
Imagining if he's an old man and can't walk nor stand. He is right.
It's his choice and the choices of many in order to avoid that kind
of situation when they got old. There's so many reasons about it.
We can learn to those ahead of us.
Funeral is just a glimpse away. No one can tell.
While we still breathing, let your life encourage and build one another.
Spend it wisely and abundantly, love one another and forgive
each other. When we die instantly or slowly we will die with less pain,
fulfilled and a restful rest.
